skewed stats of a skewed world

I don't believe this!!! My tech blog gets more traction than my personal one.


Not that my contemplations *ahem* are that interesting to warrant people's interest in them; but I neither write any record-breaking stuff or apocalyptic information in my tech blog for people to be visiting from far-and-wide. For the pizza delivery boy's sake, I've only 4 posts there.

Either, it's a total geeky world out there; or people are stumbling on it by mistake. I will go with the former as it goes well with the ego. You prefer to choose the latter?!!? Thank you.

Now don't you go peeking there to see what crazy stuff I've put. I have enough skewed stats already. Oh What the heck!!! Go ahead!!! Skew them some more...

the world is getting to be a strange place

As reported in the Times of India dated July 23, 2008 -
Man blows up apartment spraying for bugs: A New Jersey man trying to kill insects in his apartment blew it up instead, the New York Daily News reported. Isias Maceda was unhurt in the incident, but 80% of his apartment was destroyed. The accident occurred as Maceda was spraying for pests in his kitchen. Somehow the bug spray ignited a blast that triggered a fire.

And yet another -
Men sentenced for setting friend’s crotch ablaze: Two practical jokers are behind bars for setting their passed-out drinking buddy’s crotch ablaze while boozing in Grover Beach. The men poured cologne on Elliot Tuleja’s groin and set him on fire.

What is this world coming to, I say?!!?
