I had a friend in school. Not a person 1 would want to be acquainted with. And even I shared this same notion, until I met his sister.

We had to prepare for an inter school competition, and I had been to his house. That was the first time I saw her. I dont know about love, but u can certainly start liking a person at first sight. She was so bubbly and chirpy like a fountain, speaking to everyone, and she had these beautiful black eyes in which you could drown yourself.

As days passed, I found myself frequenting her house more often, and my feeling for her had developed into a more stronger feeling, which I think, most people term as LOVE.

The days seemed to be more of a torture, and dreams without her seemed like nightmares. I decided that I should not torture myself more, and that I should PROPOSE.

I started thinking of all the ways I could propose my love. Should I hold her face and kiss her first? Or should I only just hold her hands and say, "Come let's run away...."

Finally the D day arrived, and I somehow managed to catch her alone, far far away fgrom her probing brother. I looked straight into her eyes, and all that I had thought of saying, all that I ahd cooked up, all vanished into thin air, and I could only ask, "WILL YOU MARRY ME????"
She looked at me hard, trying 2 figure out whether I was kidding or not. When she realised that Iwas damn serious, she uttered just one word."NO."

Since then, I have made it a point not to fall for any sisters of my friends.
